My signature 8-week, online group course:
Food is Not a Moral Issue
You will learn how to fundamentally change your emotional relationship with food, forever.
Can you imagine a world where your diet is no longer about willpower and not defined by chaos? Instead, it just feels simple, realistic and… normal?
Do any of these sound like you?
I am addicted to sugar.
My snacking feels chaotic.
I wish I could eat more healthily but lack all willpower.
I avoid eating lunch if I am eating out in the evening.
I choose lower calorie options from a menu when I’m eating out, rather than what I fancy.
I ‘burn off’ my food with exercise.
I can’t stop picking in the evening when I sit down in front of the TV.
When I step on the scales and see I have plateaued, I try harder and restrict further.
I feel guilty after eating.
Certain foods are ‘good’, ‘clean’, ‘bad’ and ‘naughty’.
If I buy a packet of biscuits I can’t stop myself eating the whole lot.
I comfort eat whenever I’ve had a stressful day.
I’m good in the week but everything goes to pot at the weekend.
If any of these feel familiar, it’s likely to be because you have an ‘All or Nothing’ mindset. This leads to a diet governed by self-imposed, restrictive rules, which are tiring, difficult, inflexible, boring and therefore impossible to stick to long-term.
If you want to do things differently, I can help you change your
‘All or Nothing’ mindset.
As a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr), with Master’s degrees in both Nutrition and Psychology, I am academically well placed to deliver my role as a nutrition coach specialising in emotional eating. And not only do I have the knowledge, I also have many years of valuable, practical experience working with clients.
I can show you how to change your relationship with food, one final time (you will not be repeatedly starting again on Monday).
This course completely shifts your perspective. It’s hard to imagine, but if your diet feels simple, you really can continue with it for the rest of your life.
How do I maintain weight loss after GLP-1?
If you are starting on GLP-1 medications, or have already lost significant body fat with them, this course is especially relevant for you. Medications manage obesity, they do not cure it.
The good news is, medication can be used to kick start weight loss and also provide a catalyst for change. For many of my clients, it creates an opportunity to change their habits more easily.
Behaviour change is not optional, it’s foundational, in both shorter term and longer term medication use:
If you reduce or stop your medication, you will need to shift your mindset to maintain weight loss long-term. Otherwise, your ‘all or nothing’ mindset, guilt and food noise will return. You are then in real danger of regaining the weight you lost. In the long term, it’s vital to work with a nutritionist for weight loss success.
If you remain on the medication for life, it is not just about maintaining fat loss. Weight loss does not automatically equal better health.
Physically, your diet needs to be nutritionally adequate. Emotionally, it’s about elevating your relationship with food so your diet feels joyful, satisfying and deeply supportive. As a weight loss coach, I can support you with both.
True nutritional transformation is not just physical.
It’s emotional.
“Whilst on weight loss medication, you helped me look at things in a completely different way. I found the information you imparted extremely helpful and enlightening and I am looking forward to exploring this more informed way of eating.”
On this 8 week course, we will work together to develop usable psychological techniques so that you can make conscious, clear decisions around food with confidence, flexibility and freedom.
Don’t just take my word for it:
“I can see the road ahead and it looks appealing.... It even has chocolate and chips in it, and swims and mindful cuppas.”
Can you commit to being open minded enough to stop relying on willpower?
Are you prepared to stop identifying with being ‘all or nothing’ around food?
Do you genuinely want to do things differently than you have done before, rather than keep trying harder at the same things?
If so, my online nutrition coaching is for you.
My Coaching Style
As my client, you will always feel understood and heard. My coaching style is thoughtful, intelligent, well-mannnered and calm, with a touch of rebellion sprinkled on top.
“Thank you for enabling me to feel so comfortable, not judged or dismissed. ”
I deliver my sensitive, non-judgemental approach to behaviour change with gentle, yet significant, accountability. I will push you outside your comfort zone, away from restrictive habits that feel familiar and safe.
Therefore, you do need to bring an open mind and that's not easy. If you can commit to trying a radically different approach, it will be so worth it.
You can change your emotional relationship with food, even if you’ve not managed to in the past. When you do, it’s such a relief.
Group Dynamic
Group sessions over an 8 week course offer a deep level of mutual support, encouragement and understanding. I believe this creates an environment where people feel connected and are therefore more likely to succeed in changing their behaviour.
Kindness and inclusivity are at the core of each group session. I create a safe space where every member of the group can be honest and share experiences. This increases momentum, motivation and accountability.
This continues between sessions in a community support group, hosted by me.
That being said, I also acknowledge that your relationship with food is complex and sensitive, so sometimes privacy is required. The course includes two 10 minute, 1:1 sessions with me, whenever you need it most, but typically one towards the beginning and one towards the end of the course.
All members will complete a private, detailed questionnaire before the course starts, so that I understand your issues around food and incorporate this sensitively into the course content and the 1:1 call.
If you’re ready to leave chaos and guilt behind forever and build a positive food mindset, here’s the offer:
8 x weekly one hour online group sessions, on different themes, hosted by me, with up to 12 attendees. Sessions include plenty of time for informal, supportive discussion.
Recordings will be available if you can’t attend live and/or to re-watch as required.
2 × 30 minute minute 1:1 calls with me, which can be arranged at any point during the course, when you feel you need it most.
Access to a community space with me and the other attendees, so you can benefit from my expertise and peer support/ideas between sessions.
